Shaolin Art Party is building an ongoing event calendar highlighting what’s happening across Staten Island’s arts and culture scene.
This page features upcoming shows, exhibitions, workshops, screenings, markets, performances, community gatherings, and other events we think people should know about. We’re interested in things that feel creative, thoughtful, community-driven, or culturally relevant to what’s happening on the island right now.

This is a curated calendar, not an open listing board. We review submissions individually to keep the page focused and maintain a strong mix of events throughout the month.

What We Usually Feature

• Art shows & exhibitions

• Live music & performances

• Workshops & creative meetups

• Film screenings & talks

• Markets, pop-ups & community events

• Independent projects, collectives, and grassroots programming

What We Usually Don’t Post

• Events with little or no connection to arts/culture/community

• Low-detail submissions without clear information or visuals

• Spam-style or overly commercial postings

Before You Submit

Please include:

• Event title

• Date & time

• Venue/location

• Cost/ticket link (if applicable)

• Short description

• Flyer, image, or promotional graphic

Not every submission will be featured. Sometimes it comes down to timing, volume, or overall fit for the calendar.
